JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role: Migration and Sync Lead
Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Prepare data migration plans including migration risk, milestones, quality and business sign-off details.
- Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan. • Develop best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities.
- Perform source system data analysis in order to manage source to target data mapping.
- Perform migration and testing of static data and transaction data from one core system to another.
- Perform data migration audit, reconciliation and exception reporting.
- Oversee end-to-end data quality by defining and executing data migration processes, specifically data validation, cleansing, and enrichment for assigned data objects.
- Managing changes to extraction and transformation processes and tools, including value mapping, data preparation and data de-duplication.
- Install and maintain all Data Migration server hardware and software systems, as well as manage server performance and availability
- Monitor daily systems, evaluate the availability of all server resources and carry out all Linux server tasks
• Manage all resource performance and assure optimisation, as well as provide support for all applications and maintain an ideal level of customer service Job Requirements: • Hands-on experience in Oracle and DB2
• Hands-on experience in PL/SQL and ETL
• Hands-on experience RHEL, Vmware
• Atleast 8+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Leadership skills in taking a strong leadership role in the phases of data migration from design to build and testing.
• Familiar with software development life cycle guidelines and software/document version control
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
