The Opportunity
This is a new and exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join our busy Procurement team. This role is to fulfil a 6-month contract to support transformation of the current Travel&Expence process and transition to a new Travel&Expence management system.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, based out of our Dublin Head Office, we are looking for someone with strong analytical experience in a fast-paced Finance department. Must demonstrate attention to detail, ability to support change management, work to tight deadlines and enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders across a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support transformation of the current 'as is' Finance processes, including delivery of process improvements and automation
- Assist with implementation of new T&E system as part of related transformation project
- Effective and efficient delivery of the current 'as is' T&E demands, including:
- Processing and validating employee out of pocket expenses
- Ensuring expense submissions comply with company policy
- Preparing expense reports for the CFO monthly
- Weekly reporting of expenses and report submissions
- Ensure adherence of reporting deadlines for company cardholders and admins
- Other duties as assigned by direct line manager
Key Experience & Skills
- 2+ years' experience working in a busy Finance department
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and a positive mindset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities and complete work in an accurate and timely manner
- Work well as a part of a team and possess strong communication skills
- Desirable:
- Expense management background
- Track record of helping deliver process improvement and automation
- Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics
