Beata Homecare provides home care services to support the independence of clients from various cultural backgrounds in Melbourne.
We are currently looking for Home Care Workers to join our team in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne (Altona and Laverton).
This is a casual or part-time position with below hours:
Monday & Wednesday 8:00-10:00
Tuesday 10:30-12:30
Friday 8:00-12:30
Role:
You will provide quality care to clients in their own homes.
Duties include:
- personal care (showering, grooming, dressing)
- domestic support (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
- transport in your own car (to appointments, shopping, activity groups)
- in-home respite
- providing companionship
PPE provided & reimbursement for travel between clients.
Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support / Disability
- Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
- CPR Certificate (within 1 year)
- Minimum 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Patient and compassionate nature
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a remote team
- Dedicated, reliable, honest
- Willing to learn and upskill with every opportunity
